NoBluff is for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. It is not a scientifically validated lie detector and should never be used for legal, medical, employment, relationship, or any other consequential decisions. Results are not accurate or reliable for determining truthfulness.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NoBluff, you confirm that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have read and understood these Terms
- You agree to be bound by these Terms
- You understand that NoBluff is for entertainment only
2. Entertainment Purpose
NoBluff is designed solely for entertainment purposes. The application:
- Does NOT provide scientifically accurate lie detection
- Should NOT be used for any legal proceedings
- Should NOT be used for employment decisions
- Should NOT be used for medical or psychological assessments
- Should NOT be used for relationship or personal decisions
- Should NOT be used as evidence of any kind
Any reliance on the results of NoBluff for consequential decisions is at your own risk and against our explicit guidance.
3. Recording Consent
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper consent before recording any person. You agree that:
- You will obtain consent from all parties before recording
- You will comply with all applicable laws regarding audio recording in your jurisdiction
- You will not record anyone without their knowledge and consent
- You understand that recording laws vary by location (one-party vs. two-party consent states)
NoBluff and its developers are not responsible for any legal consequences arising from unauthorized recordings.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Tier
- Limited to 3 scans per day
- Contains advertisements
- Basic verdict only
NoBluff Pro
NoBluff Pro is available as:
- Weekly: $4.99 per week, auto-renewing
- Monthly: $9.99 per month, auto-renewing
- Lifetime: $29.99 one-time purchase
Subscription Terms
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of NoBluff, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of NoBluff and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use NoBluff:
- For any illegal purpose
- To record anyone without proper consent
- To harass, abuse, or harm another person
- To make legal, employment, or medical decisions
- To violate any applicable laws or regulations
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- To reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- NoBluff is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any results
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app
- We are not responsible for any decisions made based on app results
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoBluff, its developers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the app
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any recordings made using the app
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of NoBluff shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
10. Apple-Specific Terms
If you downloaded NoBluff from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and NoBluff, not Apple
- Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services
- Apple is not responsible for any product warranties
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the app
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to NoBluff at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
